WE Weddings & Events founder, me: Heather Vickery Skelton, was first introduced to the wedding industry while interning with Kirkbrides Wedding Planning & Design in Cleveland during the summer before my senior year of college. I quickly became a lover of all things wedding-related.

I say, “who wouldn’t love having a different Bride as their best friend every weekend.”
Lucky for me, I had three sisters that I was able to help plan and design each one of their special days.

In 2021— the same time I was planning my own wedding I decided to make a career change and reconnect with wedding and event planning.
WE Weddings & Events officially began during the 2022 wedding season, helping couples in north western PA and surrounding areas to plan the wedding of their dreams. Along with teaming up with Vendors and Venues to build relationships and assist with their Day of Coordination Packages.

I had always told my wedding photographer that I wanted to be featured in a wedding magazine, and that has not happened yet for my own personal wedding, but I hope I can do that with one of WE’s future couple’s special days.”
