PA Wedding Guide’s Dark Academia Styled Shoot is to take place at the Omni William Penn Hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh on April 24th! Come capture our moody color palette displayed in 6 stations around the venue property. There will be 3 model couples and two solo models.
Station 1: Urban Escape
Welcome to ‘Urban Escape,’ one of our captivating styled shoot stations positioned just beyond the doors of the Omni William Penn Hotel. Here, amidst the vibrant pulse of city life, the streets and sidewalks become the stage for an intimate elopement experience.
‘Urban Escape’ offers a unique blend of metropolitan charm and spontaneous moments, creating an unforgettable tableau of love in the heart of the city.
Station 2: Carts & Cocktails
Step into the whimsical world of ‘Carts and Cocktails’, where the ordinary hallway of the hotel transforms into a scene of playful delight. Here, the model couple indulges in carefree moments, frolicking with each other and enjoying refreshing cocktails.
Laughter echoes down the corridor as they playfully pose, their spirits as effervescent as the drinks they sip. Amidst the hustle and bustle of hotel life, ‘Carts and Cocktails’ offers a charming retreat, where joy knows no bounds and every moment is filled with fun and laughter.
Station 3: Speakeasy Soiree
Take a look at the clandestine world of ‘Speakeasy Soiree’, where the hotel’s hidden gem, the speakeasy, sets the stage for an unforgettable styled shoot station. Bathed in dim, moody lighting, this station exudes an aura of mystery and allure. The model couple, enveloped in the intimate ambiance, playfully embrace the speakeasy vibe as they sip on expertly crafted cocktails.
Station 4: Detailed Decor
Multiple tablescapes adorned with exquisite florals, intricate flatlays, and captivating detailed shots await, promising to ignite your imagination and inspire your own moments of aesthetic indulgence. Lose yourself in the spellbinding ambiance of ‘Detailed Decor’, where each snapshot is a masterpiece waiting to be captured.
Station 5: Bride to Be
‘Bride to Be’, an intimate retreat nestled within the luxurious embrace of our hotel suite. Here, amidst the soft glow of morning light and the gentle rustle of pages, a solo model, an ardent bookworm, finds solace in the quiet moments of preparation for her grand day.
As she delicately flips through the pages of her favorite novels, each word weaves into the tapestry of her anticipation, while the effervescent fizz of champagne adds a touch of celebration to the air.
‘Bride to Be’ offers an intimate glimpse into the bride’s world, capturing the essence of her unique journey as she savors the tranquility of her alone time, surrounded by the timeless charm of literature and the effervescence of bubbly.
Station 6: Symphonous Ceremony
Step into the opulent realm of ‘Symphonious Ceremony’, unfolding majestically within the grandeur of our distinguished ballroom. Here, amidst a breathtaking display of lavish floral installations, a bride and groom orchestrate a timeless union, their love unfurling like a melodious symphony.
Adding to the allure, a grand piano graces the space, inviting the couple to harmonize their love with music as they play off each other’s notes, creating a melodious backdrop to their sacred union. ‘Symphonious Ceremony’ is a celebration of love in its grandest form, where every element, from the resplendent florals to the harmonious chords, converges to create a masterpiece of matrimonial bliss.

Cancellation Policy: If for some reason, the shoot is canceled, photographers/videographers will receive a full refund.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be given out if photographer/videographer cannot attend the event after they have purchased a ticket. Photographers/videographers have permission to sell or give tickets to someone who can attend but needs to disclose that information with PA Wedding Guide’s team so we can properly send information out and address attendees correctly.
Terms & Requirements:
Photographers are required to submit at least 20 images for the use of our participating vendors. This will be due 3 weeks following the event.
Videographers are required to submit a minimum 5 minutes of content. This can be broken up into smaller video reels or one 5 minute video can be submitted. This will be due 3 weeks following the event.
Everyone is required to tag vendors when their work/products/space is being shown on social media. Additionally, vendors are required to tag photographers/videographers if they choose to post your images on social media.
PR & Publication Submissions – You may submit your own work to other publications or online advertisers, however it’s required that before doing so that you receive permission from our styled shoot team first. We do not want any overlapping of photographer submission, as this can result in a total void of being selected. Additionally, our team is in contact with publications and we want to present a fair chance for all participating photographers to showcase their work!
All participating vendors and photographer/videographers have permission to post content of the shoot! We only ask that the proper tags are given on social media. In addition to exposure on vendors’ social media, PA Wedding Guide will be showcasing this styled shoot on our socials and website with proper tagging as well.
