7 Best Vintage Wedding Ring and Dress Shops in Pennsylvania

What even is vintage anyway?

Vintage first came into use in France as a way to describe a wine’s age, and later as an adjective to describe something older. The word has since been adapted to indicate an object that is at least 20 years old and belonging to a previous, stylistically distinct era. If you’re looking at something that’s over 100 years old, it’s deemed to be an antique.

As for why we tend to like vintage items, it’s essentially a mix of psychology and sustainability. We love to have a connection with history, our heritage and nostalgia for a bygone era, all things vintage items represent. Additionally, by re-using vintage items we create a more sustainable environment.

In the past few years, the popularity of “vintage” items has dramatically increased, yet vintage products are becoming increasingly difficult to find. That’s why we’ve compiled this list of vintage shops in Pennsylvania to make your wedding planning a little easier.
