About
I feel as though my artistic process and approach to weddings is what sets me apart.
I approach weddings with an immense amount of preparation but with a photo-journalistic shooting approach (one of my dream careers as a kid was to be a photo-journalist for Nat Geo!)
What this means for you is that when you inquire and book with me, we will work through the process of your wedding day and discuss your vision. I will send you questionnaire’s designed to help me learn about you and your partner and your family dynamics. We will also have a call that deep dives into your timeline and must-have shots.
When I show up on the day of your wedding, we should feel like old friends and you should also feel a sense of ease knowing that I have prepared for this day with your vision in my heart and mind.
As for my shooting approach, I prepare a shot list. This especially comes in handy for family and friend portraits so I can direct shots and already have everyone’s names memorized so you and your partner can enjoy the moment and focus on smiling.
Aside from my prepared shot-list, I approach all other moments with photojournalism in mind. I capture the little moments that pass by in an instant. I capture your flower girl playing with bubbles without a care in the world 5 minutes before the ceremony. I capture your partner hugging their best friend during the reception. I capture your parent wiping a tear from their cheek as they watch you get ready. I capture your friends absolutely having the night of their lives at your reception.
At the heart of it, I capture the chemistry and personalities of you and your guests on the biggest day of your lives.
When you flip through your photos, your album should feel like the documentary of the day you began your lives together.
