About
After 10 years focusing on a career in music, I picked up my camera to document the first days of life of my son, Alex. I instantly fell in love with him and the art of photography. I immediately noticed the parallels between the music and the photography I created. I quickly found that both art forms rely on the balance of light and dark, loud and quiet, calamity and calmness, and most importantly- timelessness and finiteness.
My years as a wedding musician drove me to photograph weddings initially, however I learned I LOVE it for multiple reasons. One in particular stands out as the most important:
The task of documenting a couples' marriage and providing them with enduring memories that they will take with them throughout their journey in life.
It's as simple, yet complicated as that explanation. It's that task that I cherish and remind myself as the day goes on: The day is about the YOU, YOUR love, and YOUR future!
I try to tell your story as though its a musical symphony. Every part has its own character and purpose. However, not only do I love taking classical photos of classical couples, but I also love to get some rock and roll photos on the dance-floor!
