PA Wedding Guide uses geolocation to connect couples with vendors who serve their area. Here's how to set up your listing for maximum visibility.
Your Primary Location should be the city or address where your business is based or primarily operates. It's displayed publicly on your listing card and profile.
When couples search near your Primary Location, your business may appear in results if you match their search criteria and fall within their selected radius.
Many wedding professionals serve multiple markets. Adding Service Locations places your business on the map in those areas so you can appear in location-based searches there too.
In some cases, couples choose a very large search radius. A couple in Williamsport searching within 60 miles may see State College vendors even if those vendors don't regularly serve Williamsport — because State College falls within that radius.
Most wedding platforms use radius-based searches that prioritize distance over service boundaries. There's no perfect industry-wide solution to this yet.
Our recommendation: Set a Primary Location and add every market you're willing to serve as Additional Service Locations. This gives couples the most accurate picture of where you operate while maximizing your discoverability across Pennsylvania.
