If you cancel your PA Wedding Guide membership, you will receive a refund for every unused day remaining in your billing year. The original Stripe payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) is deducted from your refund, as it is non-recoverable on our end. Use the calculator in Section 3 to see your exact refund amount. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days.
PA Wedding Guide offers daily pro-rated refunds on all annual vendor memberships. If you choose to cancel at any point during your membership year, you are entitled to a refund for every unused day remaining in your current billing cycle.
There are no cancellation windows, no tiers, and no penalty for cancelling early. This policy applies to all membership tiers: Basic ($465/year), Standard ($775/year), and Premium ($1,290/year).
All refunds are issued minus the original Stripe payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30, which is non-recoverable. By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge and agree that this fee will be deducted from any refund issued.
To cancel your membership, send a cancellation request to info@paweddingguide.com. Please include your business name and the email address associated with your account.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the calendar day on which your request is received and confirmed by PA Wedding Guide. Your listing will remain active through the end of that day. Once cancellation is confirmed, your listing will be removed from the directory and your account access will be revoked.
We will send a confirmation email once your cancellation has been processed. If you do not receive a confirmation within one business day, please follow up to ensure your request was received.
Your refund is calculated based on the number of unused days remaining in your annual membership at the time your cancellation takes effect, minus the original Stripe processing fee.
Formula: ((Annual Fee ÷ 365) × Unused Days) − (Annual Fee × 2.9% + $0.30) = Refund Amount
Standard plan ($775/year) — signs up January 1, cancels January 5 (360 unused days).
Pro-rated amount: ($775 ÷ 365) × 360 = $764.38
Processing fee deducted: ($775 × 2.9%) + $0.30 = $23.08
Refund issued in Stripe: $764.38 − $23.08 = $741.30
Refunds are calculated based on the actual amount you paid. Founding Member and other discounted rates are refunded based on what was charged, with the processing fee deducted from that amount.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer. PA Wedding Guide is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions after a refund has been issued on our end.
If you have not received your refund after 7 business days, please contact us at info@paweddingguide.com and we will look into it right away.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting PA Wedding Guide directly, you will be responsible for any chargeback fees assessed by Stripe. As of the effective date of this policy, Stripe charges a $15.00 dispute fee per chargeback, regardless of the outcome.
We strongly encourage you to contact us at info@paweddingguide.com before initiating a dispute with your bank. We are easy to reach and committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. Chargebacks create additional costs and administrative burden that we pass directly back to the member responsible.
PA Wedding Guide reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account associated with a chargeback while the dispute is under review.
PA Wedding Guide memberships are non-transferable. Membership benefits, listing visibility, and account access are tied to the business that originally purchased the membership and cannot be transferred to another individual or business. Refunds are issued only to the original purchaser and to the original payment method on file.
PA Wedding Guide reserves the right to terminate a vendor membership at any time for violation of our Terms of Use. In the event of termination due to a policy violation, no refund will be issued.
In the event that PA Wedding Guide terminates a membership without cause on our end, a full pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the membership term will be issued within 5 to 7 business days.
While we work hard to make PA Wedding Guide the best possible platform for Pennsylvania wedding professionals, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as lead volume, inquiries, or bookings. Refunds are not issued based on the perceived effectiveness of a listing or dissatisfaction with results.

PA Wedding Guide reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to active members via email and posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site following notice of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Changes to this policy will not apply retroactively to memberships purchased before the updated policy takes effect.
