My philosophy is simple. I believe that love is for everyone, and everyone has the right to beautiful photographs that they are proud to share. I started my photography business after losing my mom suddenly; It gave me a realization of just how important our memories are, and what we leave behind. This is why I create timeless, true-to-color photos to share for generations.

The Maggie Ann Photography experience is designed to be simple, easy, and accessible. As your accessible Pittsburgh wedding and engagement photographer, I strive to make my couples feel like they have known me forever, and leave every moment spent together saying, "that was so much fun!"
On your big day I am not just your photographer, I am your honorary dress-fluffer, shoulder to cry on, and coordinator to keep you on schedule.

What is your photography style?

My photography style is best described as timeless, classic, and true-to-color. My goal is to capture your wedding day exactly as it looked, with an artistic touch and precise attention to detail. My goal is that you look back at your wedding day and remember how you felt, how it looked, the fun you had with your family and friends, and not my presence as your photographer. I am able to seamlessly blend in for candid moments, but also take charge in those moments that need it.

Can you provide examples of your previous work?

Absolutely! I would be delighted to showcase my portfolio of previous wedding photography work in Pittsburgh or any other locations I have had the joy of photographing. Each wedding is a unique tapestry of emotions and cherished memories, and I take pride in capturing the love and joy that radiates from every couple. When you inquire, a link to a full wedding gallery as well as an engagement gallery are also shared with you!

Will we have the rights to the images?

As part of your detailed contract, you will find a clause regarding your rights to your photos. Rights are given for personal use of your photos. So yes, share as you please and enjoy your photos for years to come! Any questions can likely be answered in a sample contract, which I am happy to supply!

Do you offer retouching or other corrections?

As stated in my photography style coverage, I want your day to be true-to-color and remember both the day, you, and your loved ones exactly as you existed. Light retouching is included for basic color adjustments, flyaway hairs, and other minor details (or if there is a really ugly trashcan behind you!) However, everyone deserves to feel beautiful in their photos, and any special requests regarding edits can be discussed as the photos are in editing/delivered.

Do you work with a videographer?

My company does not have any videographers on staff, I like to focus my attention on one thing and one expertise. Although I do not have any videographers under my company, I have several I love and have worked with in the past that I am happy to recommend. Some may even offer special pricing to those who are recommended by me!
